The STORMTracker Weather Team is closely monitoring a developing winter storm that will dump over a foot of snow on Montana.

We are analyzing every piece of data coming into the weather center in order to provide Montanans with the most accurate forecast ahead of the storm.

Blizzard Warnings have been issued for Blaine, Chouteau, Fergus and Hill Counties from Thursday morning through Saturday morning.

Between 10-14" of snow are expected in these areas, with up to 2 feet of accumulation in the mountains.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph will create significant blowing and drifting of the snow in these areas.

Winter Storm Warnings are in effect up and down the Northern Rockies for heavy snow.
