MISSOULA - Two children allegedly abducted by their father in Tennessee are now safe and sound in Missoula.
48-year-old Clifford Skees was supposed to return his two young children, 7-year-old Jedidiah and 4-year-old Samantha to their mother after a visit on February 5th, but never showed up.
Skees also failed to appear in court for a February 26th custody hearing and authorities issued felony warrant for kidnapping on March 1st.
Last Thursday, authorities received a telephone tip that Skees had recently attended a small church in Lolo.
This morning,  U.S. Marshals deputies in Missoula found Skees and the children at the Ponderosa Lodge in Missoula.
The children are now with a child protective services agency and will be returned to their mother.
Skees is in the Missoula County Detention Center.
He's scheduled to appear in court tomorrow before being extradited back to Tennessee.
