New York City police say they arrested two men overnight who were suspected of planning a terrorist attack in the city. They were nabbed in a police sting as they attempted to buy guns and a grenade. Police say they were planning to attack a Manhattan synagogue.
Germany-Demjanjuk-Trial
Former Nazi prison guard John Demjanjuk was found guilty for helping kill thousands of jews during World War II. He was sentenced to five years in prison by a court in Germany. Demjanjuk, who used to live in Ohio, is 91 years old.
US-Flooding
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal says people shouldn't wait for floodwaters to arrive. He says people should prepare now. The Mississippi River flood crest is slowly working its way south toward New Orleans.
Gas-Prices-Oil-Hearing
A lot of people are mad about high gas prices, and members of Congress will get a chance to vent Thursday. A Capitol Hill hearing will examine tax breaks oil companies are getting. Several oil company executives will be at the hearing to answer questions.
Foreclosures-Fell-Again
Foreclosures fell for the seventh straight month in April, but don't celebrate. RealtyTrac says it's because of paperwork delays from the "robo-signing" scandal where banks mishandled the foreclosure process.
