BILLINGS- A two vehicle collision on Billings' west end sent one girl to the hospital late Sunday night.
According to the Billings Police Department, the 16-year-old Billings girl failed to yield to an oncoming pickup truck at the intersection of Broso Park Drive and Gabel Road.
The BPD says the girl was driving a white sedan through the intersection when the oncoming truck struck the driver's side of the sedan.
The sedan then spun into a field adjacent to the intersection.
The girl was taken from the scene by ambulance to a Billings hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
She was the only occupant of the sedan.
The driver was the only occupant of the truck, and that person was not injured.
The Billings Police Department says speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash, but they believe the girl may have been using a cell phone.
