Bozeman businessman and U.S. congressional candidate Steve Daines' scheduled speech at the 2012 Republican National Convention has been pushed back a day.
Daines is now set to address the delegates on Tuesday around 12:50 p.m. Mountain time. He was originally asked to speak on Monday, but the first day of the convention was postponed due to Tropical Storm Isaac.
Although his speech is delayed, Daines' campaign staff said the weather did not delay his travel plans to Tampa.
Daines is running for Montana's lone seat in the U.S. House. He faces Democratic state Sen. Kim Gillan of Billings and Libertarian David Kaiser of Victor.
