COLUMBUS, MT - Stillwater Mining Company says it is pleased with its third quarter performance this year, despite the lower prices for palladium and platninum.
The company reported net income attributable to common stockholders of $13-million, compared to $40.7-million for the same quarter last year.
Stillwater reported $181-million in revenue, compared to 253.7-million for the quarter in 2011.
For the first nine months, Stillwater's net income is $33.6-million compared to $119.6-million for the frist nine months of 2011.
Stillwater Chairman and CEO Frank McAllister says mine production and cash costs remain on target.
