Billings - According to our Doppler radar the snow is planted right over Billings as we speak. It is not moving through the area as quickly as expected, but does still appear to be on the move. A cold pool of air remains over south central Montana and has plenty of instability to generate snow showers around our area. Forecast data is not showing the snow accumulation to be more than an inch, but if the storm continues to stand still this may be increased.
The second wave of moisture moves into our area Tuesday night into Wednesday. With the warmer temperatures it looks as if we will get a few rain showers out of the storm. It the storm stays in the area until Thursday, we may see a few flurries as well. The good news is we still are on track for the mid to high 40's by next weekend!
