Snow back in the forecast today

Accumulating snowfall is likely across portions of southern Montana and northern Wyoming later this afternoon into this evening. While most areas south of a line from Harlowton to Billings to Broadus will see mostly light accumulations, some foothill locations around Red Lodge could see a periord of heavier snow this evening. Be prepared for some roadways to become slick.

The Billings forecast for today, a 40 percent chance of snow, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight Snow likely, mainly before 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 21. Calm wind becoming west southwest 5 to 9 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday A slight chance of snow showers before 11am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. West wind 11 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday Night Scattered snow showers, mainly after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. West wind 11 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Saturday A 50 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 31. West northwest wind 20 to 24 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Saturday Night A 40 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
