Significant Weather Advisory for northwestern Custer County until
745 p.m. MDT...
National Weather Service doppler radar was tracking a
strong thunderstorm 22 miles southeast of Hillside...or 23 miles
northwest of Miles City...moving east and southeast at 30 mph.
Be prepared for hail up to one-half inch in diameter and wind gusts up to 45 mph are
expected with this storm...along with brief heavy rain and frequent
dangerous lightning.
The areas affected by this storm include...Miles City...Kinsey and
Bonfield. the strongest portion of the storm is expected to stay
just north of Miles City affecting interstate 94 between mile
markers 139 and 161.
If threatening weather approaches your area...take shelter in a
sturdy building.
