MISSOULA- More than 100 competitors have arrived in Missoula with a bang for an annual competition and competitive Glock handgun shooters tested their aim and their speed this weekend.

Shooters are timed at each stage of the contest and scored on how accurately they shoot. Organizers says these matches are a family friendly event that's grown in popularity over the past few years.

Big Sky Practical Shooting Club President Paul Miner says they've been glad to host the Missoula competition for the past seven years."Glock goes around the country and holds these matches for one, to introduce people to their firearms and it's a fun event. We have people come from many different areas."

The event is taking place at the Deer Creek Shooting Center.
