BILLINGS- The Senior Broncs got their season started off on the right foot as they beat Glacier 28-13 Friday night at Daylis. Senior got off to a quick start going up 14-0 after a Ben Sulser toss to Danny Desin and a Sulser keeper in the first quarter.
Broncs' cornerback Scotty Owens had himself quite the day as he made two interceptions on defense and scored a touchdown on offense. Senior halfback Chad Newell wasn't bad himself as he carried the rock 25 times for 144 yards and a score.
Senior led from start to finish in a very satisfying home opener. The Broncs get Helena High on the road next Friday.
