Scooter crash sends man to the emergency room

BILLINGS - The driver of a motorized scooter was injured late Tuesday afternoon after being thrown from his bike while trying to avoid an on coming car.
The wreck happened just before 5:30pm at the intersection of 5th Street West and Alderson Avenue.
The scooter's driver was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries. The victim was wearing a helmet.
The Billings Police Department is investigating the crash.
