Schweitzer attending Graduation Matters event

MISSOULA - Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer will be in Missoula on Tuesday to speak with high school freshmen who are attending a Graduation Matters event, an effort to help students graduate from high school.

Some 22 buses carrying 920 students will be on the University of Montana campus for the event and will gather at Washington Grizzly Stadium beginning at 10 a.m. The influx of high school students mean there will be some delays for folks trying to get around the UM campus.

Officials have shutdown the northeast side of Campus Drive to traffic from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. to help ensure the safety of the students as they are loading and unloading from buses for the Graduation Matters event.
