BILLINGS - GOP gubernatorial candidate Rick Hill came to Billings to campaign at MontanaFair.
Hill says traditionally fairs make a good place to campaign, and serves as a kickoff to the campaign season.
He says the governor's race has the same issues as national campaigns.
"I don't think there's a time in history where there's been as clear a distinction between the two political parties in terms of what they want to do," said Rick Hill. "Whether it's the Presidential race taking the country in a different direction or here in Montana building a better more secure foundation for the economy of Montana. There's a clear distinction between the candidates. I think that's good for the populace. I think it's good for voters to have that clear distinction."
Hill says the main issues are jobs and the economy, just as he says it is nationally.
