MISSOULA- Some parts of the Bitterroot National Forest is once again under a Red Flag Warning.
The National Weather Service office in Missoula has issued a Red Flag Warning for thunderstorms, which is in effect from noon until midnight.
Scattered thunderstorms will develop and move through the area Tuesday afternoon through the evening hours.
The storms will have wet cores, but widespread rain is not expected with forecasters warning that lightning potential with gusty outflow winds could help start new or spread existing wildfires.
The thunderstorms may begin as isolated by noontime, but will quickly increase to scattered coverage by early afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms will continue through the evening hours before diminishing by midnight.
