Railroad executive to speak in Billings Wednesday

The CEO of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad will speak in Billings on Wednesday during the annual meeting of the Big Sky Economic Development Authority. Mathew Rose will address a luncheon crowd and update the current state of rail traffic.

The luncheon will include a celebration highlighting 10 years of BSEDC (Big Sky Economic Development Corporation) and its partnership with the BSEDA. It will also feature a year-end review of BSED's strategic priorities with a look into future objectives for the organization. The lunch will conclude with a presentation from keynote speaker Matthew K. Rose, CEO of BNSF Railway. Mr. Rose will speak to the importance of rail throughout the country and the positive impact it provides here locally in Yellowstone County. The luncheon is open to the public and tickets are $25 per person. An RSVP is needed by October 15th.
