Temperatures will run about 8 to 12 degrees warmer today than yesterday in most locations. The warming trend will continue tomorrow, with another 8 to 12 degree leap in the afternoon highs. Weak disturbances pushing through ahead of a Pacific system will bring a chance of mountain showers, but the lower elevations seem on track to stay dry until some scattered showers develop late Thursday through Friday.
Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 42. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to10 mph in the morning.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 49. West southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow showers before midnight, then a slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. North northeast wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday: A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain and snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
