Mild weather will continue this week for most of the region. But, there will be a few wrinkles to watch as well. A few showers are pushing across the eastern edge of Montana this morning, and wind gusts to 60 mph could blow in the Livingston area and Upper Stillwater Valley. Billings will remain breezy, with steady winds of 15 to 25 mph. Temperatures will again push to the 40s and low 50s.
A few weather systems will swing across Canada and drop into the Dakotas and Northeast Montana. While these ripples won't have much of an impact on our area, they will help flatten this upper ridge across the Western U.S., and that will push temperatures back a few degrees from Tuesday onward compared to this past weekend.
Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 52. West southwest wind 15 to 25 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind 10 to 20 mph.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 48. Southwest wind around 15 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind around 10 mph.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 47. West wind 15 to 20 mph.
