Q2 News is proud to announce the newest member of the News Team, Becky Hillier. Becky will join the news team August 2 and will anchor the 530 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts with Jay Kohn, Bob McGuire, and Scott Breen.
Many of you will remember Becky from the Noon News on Q2 in 2007 and 2008. Recently, Becky has been working in the Billings area as a community liaison for Rocky Mountain Hospice. She has been working on educating the general public and medical community on the benefits of hospice care.
Prior to joining Q2 Becky was a main anchor for WMTV-TV in Madison, Wisconsin from 2002 to 2007. She won several awards including an Edward R. Murrow award for spot news coverage. She also was the primary health reporter for WMTV. Becky was also the main anchor for KNBN-TV in Rapid City from 1996-2002. Becky is a native of Miles City, MT and graduated from Custer County High School. After being crowned Miss Montana in 1988 she toured with a show sponsored by the Department of Defense entertaining troops overseas. Becky is married to a Billings Police officer, and has two children. Please join us in welcoming back Becky to the Q2 team.
