Possible human remains found in Powell County

Possible human remains, including a skull, have been found in Powell County.
Lewis & Clark County Sheriff Leo sent a notification on Monday that he will hold a joint press conference with Powell County Sheriff Scott Howard on Thursday in Deer Lodge.
Authorities do not yet know if the remains are those of Mike Crites who was reported missing in June of 2011.
Human remains were later found in the MacDonald Pass area in October 2011; they were later identified as belonging to Crites.
Crites had been involved in a land dispute in the Birdseye area prior to his death.
