Police looking for driver of hit and run accident

MISSOULA - Three people are shaken up, but okay after a hit and run incident that happened in the early morning hours.

A female designated driver was driving two of her friends home last night around 2 a.m.

The group was traveling northbound on Russell Street when their vehicle was t-boned by an SUV traveling the wrong direction on 6th Street.

The vehicle was struck with enough force to deploy the passenger side airbags and one woman received stitches for a laceration to her head.

The Missoula Police Department is looking for a white or silver Nissan Pathfinder or Xterra SUV, which should have front end damage.
