Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Lockwood

LOCKWOOD, MT - A 16-year old Billings boy is in serious condition, after a pick-up truck hit him in Lockwood Thursday night.
The Montana Highway Patrol says it happened on Becraft Lane near Starlight Drive, around 5:40 pm.
Two boys were walking eastbound.
A pick-up truck was also heading east.
Trooper Eli Wolfe says the boys were wearing dark clothing and had their backs to traffic.
The truck hit the pedestrian closest to the road.
An ambulance took the 16-year old boy to St. Vincent.
Wolfe he can not rule out that the driver was impaired, but does not suspect alcohol was a factor.
Trooper Wolfe says it's likely the driver will receive a citation.
The Lockwood Fire Department and Yellowstone County Sheriff's deputies also resonded.
