One person confirmed dead in Carbon County semi vs. pickup collision

UPDATE- According to the Montana Highway Patrol, a Cody, Wyoming man was killed in a collision on U.S. Highway 310 in Carbon County, Montana on Saturday night.

The 51-year-old man was driving in a Ford pickup truck northbound at mile marker 6 when he fishtailed and drifted across the center line of the highway and struck an oncoming semi-truck.

Montana Highway Patrol says the 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

There has not yet been a determination if speed or alcohol were a factor in the crash.

BILLINGS- One person has confirmed to have been killed in a collision between a pickup truck and a semi truck in south Carbon County Saturday evening.

That collision took place on U.S. Highway 310 at mile marker 6 near the Montana and Wyoming state border.

The Montana Highway Patrol and Carbon County Sheriff's Office are investigating the crash.
