BILLINGS - One man is in custody, another in the hospital after a stabbing incident Tuesday afternoon.
The events leading up to the stabbing remain unclear, but Billings Police Lt. Mark Cady said the two men involved in the incident are related. Lt. Cady said the men got into an altercation and the 22-year-old allegedly stabbed the 23-year-old man in the stomach.
Police were called to 1003 Custer Avenue around 2:30 p.m. The 23-year-old victim was taken to the hospital when crews saw his blood pressure drop very low.
The 22-year-old suspect was taken into custody for questioning.
It is believed that alcohol was involved in the altercation.
The incident remains under investigation.
