One buried in avalanche near Bozeman

BOZEMAN - One man has been buried in an avalanche that happened at Truman Gulch this afternoon, according to the Gallatin County Sheriff's Department.

The condition of the man is unknown at this time. Search and Rescue personnel, the Gallatin County Sheriff's Department and a helicopter are at the scene.

Truman Gulch is located on the west side of the Bridger Mountains and north of Belgrade.
