Abby Womback is going for gold this summer in the Olympics, but is scheduled to host a soccer clinic in Great Falls.
Get Fit Great Falls is putting on the Come Out and Play Event this September.
The organization said Wombach would be a perfect role model for area youth with her healthy lifestyle, leadership and sportsmanship.
Wombach's been the leader of the US Women's Soccer team at the World Cup, and the London 2012 Olympics.
Organizers noted Wombach seems excited to make the appearance.
Lindsay Smith with Get Fit Great Falls said, "it took less than three hours for her to get a hold of Abby, and Abby to say yes, she wanted to do it."
Organizers were thrilled with the quick response, and hope the event will be right up Wombach's alley.
Come Out and Play will be September 8th and 9th.
On Saturday, September 8th Wombach will meet and greet with the community, discussing how a healthy lifestyle helped her career.
Sunday, September 9th will be a free soccer clinic for kids ages 6-13.
A competitive camp for ages 13-18 is also on the 9th, but costs $50 to participate.
