New large wildfire detected Tuesday in southeastern Montana

BILLINGS - Another wildfire was detected in Montana Tuesday, less than 20 miles away from Montana's largest wildfire, the Ash Creek Fire.

Known as the Taylor Creek Fire, the blaze was estimated at 3000 acres Tuesday night. The U.S. Forest Service reports that the fire currently burning grasslands about 2-6 miles from Sayle, Montana. A crew of 50 firefighters is assigned to this fire.
