POLSON, MT - Authorities have released the name of the Lake County woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon near Ravalli on U.S. Highway 93 North.

Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin says Eyvonne M. Barnaby, 39, of Charlo died in the wreck, which tied up traffic for hours.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Shad Anderson says Barnaby was traveling north on U.S. Highway 93, just south of Ravalli, when her car drifted across the lane and into oncoming traffic, where her car was hit by a pickup truck headed south.

A four-year-old girl who was traveling with her was also injured in the accident, and is being treated at a Washington State hospital. Andersen says the girl was not wearing a seat restraint.

Andersen says the woman was not wearing a seat belt and the man, who was treated and released from the hospital, was wearing a restraint.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
