MT Governor requests suspects in Sherry Arnold case be extradited

BILLINGS - Montana's Governor Brian Schweitzer has officially signed extradition requests for two men accused of kidnapping and possibly killing missing Sidney teacher Sherry Arnold.

Governor Schweitzer signed the requests for Michael Spell and Lester Waters Jr. and sent it to North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple.

The two are set to appear at an extradition hearing in Williams County, North Dakota on February 14. It is at the hearing that the public will learn more about what links the suspects to Sherry Arnold's disappearance.

Sherry Arnold went for a jog Jan. 7 and never returned home. The FBI, Montana and North Dakota law enforcement believe her body is buried somewhere near Williston, North Dakota.
