BILLINGS - Tanner Rottrup is the best shot put thrower MSUB has ever seen.
He's set the Yellowjackets shot put distance record multiple times, and is the only MSUB athlete with an individual title at the conference championships, after defending his GNAC crown last weekend.
But Rottrup isn't happy...yet. His most impressive acheivement to date is his NCAA Provisional national qualifying throw of 53'5". However, that mark is still outside the top 16 in the country, which means if the season ended today, he wouldn't be invited to the nationals in Alabama.
Luckily for him, it's not over yet. Watch out story above to see where Rottrup's journey will take him this weekend, and why he believes it won't be his last.
