Motorcycle accident in residential area kills one

UPDATE: BILLINGS - Emergency crews in Billings were dispatched to a collision involving a motorcycle and SUV. The male motorcyclist was killed in the collision.

The passenger on the motorcycle was transported to St. Vincent's with minor injuries.

The GMC SUV traveling eastbound on Avenue D arrived to the intersection of 13th Street West. The motorcycle traveling northbound slammed into the right side of the SUV after the SUV pulled through the intersection to beat traffic.

Resusitation efforts on the male motorcyclist failed. Neither motorcyclists were wearing helmets but following the posted speed limit of 35 mph.
