BILLINGS - This weekend women ruled over the Billings community.
The 3rd annual Yellowstone Valley Weekend for Women at MetraPark was a sellout event.
Nearly 4,000 ladies enjoyed everything from a trade show, inspirational speakers, a comedy night, a 5K run, and cooking show.
Organizers say the weekend was designed to provide a "girl's night out" atmosphere of stress free, fun and humorous times with friends.
"I learn something new every year, and I love feedback from people who come and feedback from our vendors," said the event organizer Haley Vannatta. "We take it all in and just want to make it the absolute best show for not only the people who come to see it, but also for all the great vendors who are here with their products and services."
The 5k run raised money for St. Vincent Health Care's EVA project, which provides mammograms to women in need. Very fitting for this time of year as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
