MISSOULA - The summer The Olympics start in just over one month and one Missoula native will ride for his country in London.
Sam Schultz made the US team in mountain biking, with the former Hellgate High School grad finding out on Friday that he is one of two American men who will get to go for gold.
Schultz has never competed in an Olympic games, but the 26-year old owns plenty of experience in world and national championships and this season, he tops all Americans for average finish at World Cup events.
Schultz won the inaugural Missoula XC event in his hometown last summer and will compete in the cross-country event on the final day of the London Olympics, August 12th.
