Montana Governor Bullock plans two Inaugural Balls

HELENA - Montana Governor Steve Bullock and Lt. Governor John Walsh announce plans for two Inaugural Balls next month in Helena to celebrate the start of their new administration.

Governor Bullock and his wife Lisa, and Lt. Governor Walsh and his wife Janet are inviting all Montanans to the 2013 Govenor's Inaugural ball on Saturday, February 9 in Helena.

The very next day, Sunday February 10, Montana families are also invited to "A Big Sky Carnival", a children's Inaugural Ball.

Both events will take place at Exhibit Hall at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds in Helena.

The Governor's Inaugural Ball runs from 7pm to midnight, with live music, appetizer, and drinks.

Tickets are $25 per person, and will be available for purchase starting Monday morning, January 14.

The Children's Inaugural Ball is set from 4-6pm, Sunday February 10, and features carnival food and activities, and live music by The Whizpops.

A RSVP is required to attend the Childrens' Ball by emailing kidsball@stevebullock.com.

Guests to the Children's Ball are asked to bring a nonperishable food item donation for Montana food banks.
