MILES CITY - A ten-year-old Montana girl is dead after a rollover crash in Eastern Montana.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the Anaconda girl was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle when the driver lost control of the Jimmy GMC and rolled.
The driver, a 36-year-old Anaconda woman, was driving eastbound on Interstate-94 near Miles City when she drifted toward the median, over-corrected and rolled.
The driver was injured, along with a second passenger, a 13-year-old Anaconda girl. Both were wearing seat belts.
All three females were taken to the hospital, but the 10-year-old did not survive.
Speed and alcohol were not factors.
The Monday evening crash remains under investigation.
