MISSOULA- The two Carmike Cinemas in Missoula, as well as the Carmike Plaza 6 in Butte were searched by officials on Friday morning as a precautionary measure, after a bomb scare at Carmike Cinema's headquarters in Columbus, GA.
Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff John Walsh says there is nothing to worry about in Butte, stressing that this was done merely as a precautionary measure. Missoula Police say their morning search turned up nothing unusual.
According to our affiliate WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky, a Lexington Fire Department spokesperson confirmed the bomb threat was called in Friday morning to the corporate office in Columbus, Georgia claiming that multiple bombs have been planted at theaters across the country.
