GLACIER NATIONAL PARK - The two men who went missing after a hike in the Two Medicine area last week have been found alive, according to park officials.

A post on Glacier's Facebook says:

"The two missing hikers, Neal Peckens and Jason Hiser, have been located! Initial information indicates they are well and will be returning to their families! Yeah! (dg)"

Peckens, of Virgina, and Hiser, of Maryland, are both 32. They left Oct. 9 for a backcountry hike into the Two Medicine Area from the North Shore Trailhead.

Family members reported them missing when they missed their Friday flights home. About 50 searchers, including horseback and dog teams, spent the weekend searching.

It's not yet known how or where they were found. We'll bring you more information as it comes in.
