BILLINGS - The Super Bowl provides a good opportunity for men to talk football and socialize with other men.
That's the idea behind Harvest Church's Super Bowl Party VI.
The church touts this as day for the men, with the women serving the food while the men enjoy the game.
The church planned on 400 men and boys getting together to watch football.
"We've just really noticed that men have a pretty shallow relationship pool," said Pastor George Burgin, who works with the outreach ministry at Harvest Church. "We just want to provide a place for people to get to know people, have some friendships and provide a place to participate in the game so they're not stuck in the basement by themselves."
Pastor Burgin says after one of these Super Bowl parties, Harvest Church sees an upsurge in men attending church and the men's groups.
