BUTTE - A man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than 50 political signs because he was reportedly tired of the election.

On Sunday a witness reported seeing a man take political signs from their neighbor's yard. Authorities responded to the 100 block of Rampart Drive and stopped a vehicle at the corner Whiteway and Burlington that matched the witness's description.

There was one male inside the vehicle. John Fournier, 22, reportedly had political signs in the back seat of his vehicle. The signs were from all different candidates and races.

Fournier reportedly stated he was sick and tired of the political process.

Authorities say they also found drug paraphernalia and marijuana inside the vehicle.

Fournier faces charges of theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs.
