UPDATE: BROADUS - The man killed in a motocycle collision with a vehicle near Broadus Friday is identified as 60-year-old Robert Sanna of Pennsylvania.
Sanna was killed when the motorcycle he was riding with a female passenger was struck by the oncoming Hyudai vehicle that crossed the center line.
An update on the condition of the passenger on the motorcycle was not available.
ORIGINAL POST: BROADUS, MT - A motorcycle rider died in a crash in Powder River County, Friday morning.
The Montana Highway Patrol says it happened on U.S. Highway 212 at mile marker 94.9 near Broadus.
The Montana Highway Patrol says a 60-year-old man riding the motorcycle died. His 57-year-old female passenger from Westchester, Pennsylvania suffered serious injuries.
A 2008 Hyundai Elantra was heading east on 212. A Harley Davidson motorcyle was heading west.
The Hyundai went around a right hand curve and crossed the center line into the westbound lane, and hit the Harley.
The car landed on the north side of the highway.
The motorcycle rider and passenger fell off the bike and slid to a stop.
The 60-year-old man was Life-lighted to a hospital in Gillette, Wyoming.
The 57-year-old woman was taken to Billings Clinic.
The two people in the Hyundai, a 26-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman both from Bellevue, Washington, were not injured.
Two other motorcycles behind the Harley were not involved in the crash.
Troopers say it is unknown if alcohol and speed were factors.
