Malmstrom AFB investigating kidnapping allegation

Officials are investigating a possible kidnapping on Malmstrom Air Force Base.

Base personnel first received reports of an attempted kidnapping late Saturday afternoon.

A teenage girl living on base was the alleged victim.

Further investigating the matter, officials believe there is no truth to the claims.

Investigators are still following up on leads to ensure no one is, or was, in danger. But believe the reported kidnapping was a hoax.
