BILLINGS - The Mustangs have a flair for the dramatics. Wednesday night proved that as Billings blew mulitple leads against the Orem Owlz.
First they saw a 3-1 lead dissappear in the 6th as the Owlz scored 2 to tie things up. The Stangs quickly answered back with 5 in the bottom of the inning thanks to back to back homers by Juan Silva and Devin Lohman to go up 8-3.
However a 5 run lead would not be enough as Orem came back with 5 runs of their own in the top of the 8th capped off by a C.J. Cron 3 run blast.
The game would then go into extras, but not too long, as Mustangs first baseman Robert Maddox took Owlz reliever Aaron Tullo deep for a walk off 2 run homer to give the Mustangs an 10-8 victory.
The win improves the Mustangs to 13-10 and keeps them tied with Missoula atop the division standings as the Osprey defeated Casper 7-4.
