A logging truck crash caused a highway intersection to close for an hour outside Anaconda.

Around 9:20 Friday morning, the driver was turning from Highway 1 onto Highway 48, heading for Deer Lodge.

Montana Highway Patrol says he took the corner too fast, causing the logging truck semi to roll onto the passenger side.

The logs spilled onto the highway and ditch.

The driver suffered a broken arm.
It is unsure if he broke it during the crash or when he unbuckled his seat belt and fell in the cab of the truck.
MHP cited the driver for careless driving.
