Lightning splits tree in Billings neighborhood

BILLINGS - Lightning struck a tree on the 1800 block of Wyoming in Billings Monday night.

The tree split in half. We're told it stood there for about half an hour before it fell - giving the owner of a car parked underneath the tree time to get the car out of harm's way.

The doppler shows storms are moving east tonight, and we could see another day of 90's and showers again Tuesday.
