Libby man dies after being hurt in July crash

LIBBY- A motorcyclist who crashed near Libby on July 12th, has died from his injuries.

Montana Highway Patrol reports the 73-year-old Libby man was traveling westbound on Kootenai River Road when the rear tire of his Harley Davidson motorcycle locked up.

MHP says the motorcyclist braked hard on a straight section of the road and that's when the tire locked and the man fell off his bike.

He was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries on July 28th. The man's name has not been released.
