Leatherberry identified as teen victim of rollover near Hinsdale

The victim of a rollover accident near Hinsdale has been identified as 15 year old Justin Leatherberry.

Three other teens were were injured in the rollover on Highway 537.

The accident happened at around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

A Chevy Blazer was carrying the four occupants south on Highway 537.

The driver drifted off the roadway while going around a left curve and over-corrected.

The vehicle rolled several times, and Leatherberry was pronounced dead at the scene.

An 18 year old Whitewater male and 15 year old Hinsdale female were taken to the hospital in Glasgow with unknown injuries.

Another 15 year old girl was flown to St. Vincent hospital in Billings.

The Montana Highway Patrol does not yet know which person was driving the vehicle.

None of the occupants were wearing seat belts, and it is not yet known if alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.

MHP is continuing its investigation.
