Knudsen named GNAC Player of Week

SPOKANE - Montana State University Billings women's basketball player Bobbi Knudsen is the Great Northwest Athletic Conference's Player of the Week.

The Malta native scored 57 points in MSUB's pair of road wins over Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene. Knudsen hit for a career-high 25 points in the Yellowjackets' 61-52 win over the Wildcats on Thursday. She saved her best for last following that up matching a GNAC season-high with 32 points in Saturday's 69-60 victory over the Crusaders.

The sophomore guard went 23-42 (.548) from the field over the two games and drained 14 three-pointers. She also corralled in nine rebounds, had six assists and swiped the ball three times.

Knudsen currently leads the team with 17.3 points per game and a 40.9% shooting percentage from the field. She has a team-high 450 points, 110 assists and 49 steals so far this season.
