Inmate death confirmed at Cascade County Detention Center

Cascade County officials have confirmed that inmate Charles Lee Reynolds, Jr., has died after being found hanging in his cell.

A press release states that Reynolds was found at approximately 2:44 p.m. on Sunday, February 5th.

Detention staff and Great Falls police officers performed CPR until medical personal relieved them.

Reynolds was then transported to Benefis hospital where he was pronounced dead 3:25 p.m.

Lewis & Clark County Coroner Mickey Nelson was contacted to investigate the death, as required by statute for all deaths while in custody.
