I-90 motorcycle crash sends two to the hospital

BILLINGS - Two people were injured in single vehicle motorcycle crash on Interstate 90 Monday afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly after noon Monday in the eastbound lane of I-90 approximately one mile west of the King Avenue exit.

The male driver and his female passenger were thrown their Harley Davidson motorcycle which ended up in the median between the east and westbound lanes.

Upon arrival emergency responders found both victims awake and breathing. The male was bleeding from the head and both sustained road rash injuries.

The female rider was still wearing her helmet as ambulance personnel attended to her. It is unknown at this time if the male was also wearing a helmet.

The Harley is registered out of Wisconsin.

The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the crash which has slowed eastbound traffic to one lane near the King Avenue interchange.
