MISSOULA - The Hellgate High School vs. Glacier High School varsity football game has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at Ronan High School.
School officials canceled the game Friday because of the heavy wildfire smoke in the Missoula Valley.
Earlier on Friday, Hamilton schools postponed their boys and girls soccer games due to air quality issues and cancelled a golf tournament altogether.
Though smoke was not the reason, the Florence at Troy football game is to be played on Saturday evening instead of Friday evening as originally planned.
Air quality ranged from "unhealthy" in parts of Missoula County to "hazardous" in the Hamilton area.
Check the Missoula schools website for the latest update.
